Excavation work started on the apron of the 6th green and the soil is being used to lay the foundation for a new 16th tee.
The work will take place all this week and into next. Will members take care and follow on course signs for GUR and avoid walking and placing golf bags or trolleys on new surface.
Players who find their ball in the GUR should play from one of the two dropping zones on the lefthand side of the 6th green.
