Support Chris Toop, our fantastic greenkeeper, at our annual Greenkeeper’s Revenge and raise money for his nominated charity. This is the day that Chris and the greens team get their revenge by placing obstacles and challenges around the course and greens.

Texas scramble format for the game so ideal for all playing levels and we would like to see as many people as possible supporting Chris on the day. Following the game there will be entertainment plus an auction and raffle with all funds raised going to charity. If you have any suitable items for either the auction or raffle we would really appreciate it.

£10 entry for the game which includes lunch and a £5 donation to the charity.

Race Night returns to the Aquarius and we are now selling horses and race sponsors. Horses are £5 each and the winning owner of each race receives £25 – 8 horses per race. We are also looking for race sponsors for £25 per race and you get to name your race – 6 races to sponsor initially. All of the profits from Race Night are split equally between the Captain’s Charity, Parkinson’s UK, and the club’s entertainment fund.

Come along and support your new captains at the traditional start of the golf year event. This is a fun team game with Texas scramble format and is open to all members, whatever your golf level. Breakfast and lunch provided for all golfers taking part in the day.

Look out for exact timings closer to the date.

Cock a leekie soup, haggis neeps and tatties, roast beef dinner, apple pie and custard plus coffee and mints – excellent value at £20. The sign up sheet will be going up later this week but please feel free to reply to this email or let the bar staff know if you would like to be added to the list as numbers are limited. Dinner will be served at 4pm and the bar will close at 8pm.

BBQ Tickets are going on sale from 2pm on Saturday 31st July and are available from the bar. Tickets are limited so please buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment – this was a sellout two years ago and we expect tickets to go extremely quickly. Due to the expected demand unfortunately we are unable to reserve tickets for this event.

Barbecue will be fired up from 2pm to 5pm. Stay and relax into the evening and enjoy the views across London while listening to music and enjoying a few drinks.
