A Welcoming & Inclusive Women's Section for All Levels
The Women’s Section at Aquarius Golf Club is a friendly and supportive group, welcoming golfers of all abilities. Whether you are new to the game or an experienced player, you will find an encouraging environment to play, learn and improve. Courtesy rounds are available for prospective members, and support is offered to those working towards obtaining an official handicap.
Some members enjoy relaxed social golf. Others focus on competitive play and improving their handicap. The section caters for both. Social golf provides an excellent opportunity to meet fellow members, enjoy the course and develop your game in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Competitions and Social Golf
The Women’s Section holds competitions throughout the year across both 9 and 18 holes. Regular social golf takes place:
Mondays at 10am
Thursdays at 10am
Saturdays when no competition is scheduled
Women in Golf Charter
Aquarius Golf Club is a registered signatory of the Women in Golf Charter, supported by England Golf.
By working towards the Charter Commitments, we are contributing towards creating a positive change in golf, one which will create a more inclusive culture that encourages more women and girls to thrive in the game.
Getting Started
Prospective players are invited to request a courtesy round to experience the course and meet other members of the section. All applications are considered equally, regardless of age, ethnicity or handicap.

Taster Sessions & Academy Groups
Taster sessions are available for women and girls aged 11 and above, designed for complete beginners. You'll try putting, chipping and hitting iron shots, all on the practice area. Clubs and balls are provided - just bring yourself.
Aquarius is committed to growing women’s and girls’ golf within the club.
