Meet the Team

Sam leads the Board of Directors and Committee, setting the strategic direction for the club and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From overseeing finances and compliance to maintaining relationships with key officials, Sam works hard to make sure Aquarius continues to offer the best possible experience for its members.

Tina holds responsibility for the daily operations at Aquarius, managing all staff and making sure everything runs smoothly. She looks after members and visitors alike, supports the Directors and Committee, and is the first point of contact for just about everything. Her father Fred was Head Professional here for over 50 years.

Kim looks after women's golf and the junior section at Aquarius, and is the driving force behind the club's Junior Golf Hub. A former Lady Captain, PGA Level 1 qualified Community Golf Instructor and Women's Golf Charter Champion, Kim is passionate about growing the game and making sure there's a warm welcome for golfers of all ages and abilities. Like her father Fred Private, giving back to the community is close to her heart.

Dave is responsible for the overall maintenance, presentation and long-term planning of the golf course. Working closely with the head greenkeeper, he leads the greens team and manages the course maintenance programme to keep Aquarius looking its best all year round.

Len has been part of the Aquarius family since 1988 and is still going strong. A dedicated and active member of the club for nearly four decades, he's the friendly face looking after all things membership. And he's already got his sights set on the next 40 years!

Olenka is the safe pair of hands looking after the club's finances. She's taken on the role with enthusiasm and is already getting stuck in to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Ed assists with managing internal and external suppliers and organising repairs to the clubhouse. Passionate about the club, he's always willing to lend a hand wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.

Roger is responsible for the upkeep and management of the clubhouse, overseeing suppliers and making sure the facilities are kept in great shape for members and visitors. He works closely with the rest of the committee to keep everything running behind the scenes.

Peter is the current Club Captain at Aquarius, having taken the reins at the Captain's Drive In in April alongside Ladies' Captain Cath. He's a familiar face around the club and is proud to be leading Aquarius through an exciting year ahead.

Cath is the current Ladies' Captain at Aquarius, having kicked off her year alongside Club Captain Pete at the Captain's Drive In in April. She's a well-known face at the club and is looking forward to a great year ahead for ladies' golf at Aquarius.

Terri oversees the accuracy and administration of women members' handicaps and processes competition scores. A long-serving member of the club, she's always happy to volunteer on and off the course.

Sunny picked up golf during the pandemic and hasn't looked back. A member at Aquarius for three years and a regular in competitions for two, he's living proof that it's never too late to fall in love with the game. Playing in competitions helped him make new friends and become part of the local community, and he's always happy to chat if you're curious about getting involved.

Jack joined Aquarius in January last year and has settled into his role as head greenkeeper. He works hard to maintain the course and continues to make improvements across the greens, fairways and bunkers, helping to enhance the overall playing experience. He's also a friendly and approachable face, always happy to have a chat.

Mason joined the greens team in November 2025 and is working towards his Level 2 qualification. He's learning the ropes out on the course every day, getting hands-on experience with everything from mowing greens to preparing bunkers and keeping Aquarius in top condition.

Debbie manages the food and beverage at Aquarius, and keeps everything running smoothly behind the bar. She's also your go-to person for party and event bookings at the clubhouse. If you're planning a celebration or looking to hire the venue, Debbie's the one to speak to.

You'll usually find Katy behind the bar at Aquarius on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, plus a few Saturdays each month. Always smiling and happy to help, whether you're after your usual drink or trying something new. She's friendly, approachable and always up for a chat!

Caroline is another friendly face behind the bar at Aquarius, always happy to help and make sure you're well served and looked after.
